Sea Anglers
Conservation Network.
The Sea Anglers’
Conservation Network mission is to inform anglers and involve
sea anglers in marine conservation and anglers’ access issues.
Recruiting its
membership from the angling internet community, using email and
websites for communication, and relying on its membership to
provide information and expertise from their own resources, it
is a free to join organisation.
With a membership
consisting of individuals, clubs and federations SACN is
regularly involved in discussions with politicians and
government departments and works closely with other sea angling
representative organisations such as the NFSA and BASS.
But it’s
most important asset is its membership, who are individually
prepared to get involved and are often called upon to put
pen to paper to defend their sport, the fish stocks, and the
marine environment.
